Integration and bids

With the need to demonstrate Moodle - EBS integration within two weeks of the request, our first meeting was hectic in a coolish kind of way! With conversations switching between the two systems regarding data flow. We did spend a little time on the flow of some data that as it turned out had not even been captured yet, so neither system for that one. Anyway the good news is that Moodle won the day, and is to become the official student portal for the college, superb. I spent last weekend putting together an overview for a JISC bid, that if successful will lead to the funding of a collaborative inter-college project. If all goes well, the project will be extending my initial trial in deploying Moodle beyond its course management role and into the realms of virtual learning, so do watch this space
